Colorado Narrow Gauge Slide Show!

Friday 24th February.

See the Rio Grande Southern in southwestern Colorado between 1935 and 1950.

The colour slides show this incredible 170 mile long narrow gauge line that traversed mountain passes higher than any railway in Switzerland. This almost bankrupt railroad played a strange role in modern history and the development of atomic power & weapons.

If you are not a narrow gauge fan you will enjoy the scenery and some of the fantastic wooden bridges. Most of the slides were taken in fall when the aspen trees are turning yellow and orange.

Show will go for about one hour or longer depending on demand from spectators.
